Edmentum is used for:

• Basecamp to connect students and teachers.
• Housing SMCPS content and curriculum.
• Embedding resources from other Ed Tech tools.
• Grade reporting.
• Tracking student data and information.

Educational Technology Tools (ED Tech)

An educational technology tool is used to blend technology with the content and curriculum already being taught in SMCPS. Using Ed Tech tools in the classroom allows teachers to create a more engaging, inclusive and individualized learning experience. Not all of the platforms will be used by all teachers, but the selection is offered in order to create the environment to meet the needs of each unique virtual classroom.

	Edmentum Edmentum is a learning platform offering flexible online curriculum and virtual learning opportunities for middle and high school students.
	EDPuzzle Edpuzzle is an online tool that allows teachers to pull in personal and web-based videos.
	Kami Kami is an online tool that allows students and teachers to write directly on documents. Kami is often used for signatures. It requires an installation of a Chrome app.
